PT Jaya Bumi Paser (JBP), a wholly owned subsidiary of PT Indika Indonesia Resources, is embarking on a strategic development initiative for a wood pellet processing facility located in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. This undertaking is a manifestation of JBP’s continued commitment to operational excellence and innovation in renewable energy, aligning closely with the long-term vision of its parent company to sustainably manage and optimize Indonesia’s abundant energy resources.

As global demand for clean and renewable energy accelerates, wood pellets have emerged as a viable and environmentally responsible alternative energy source. Recognizing this potential, PT Jaya Bumi Paser is implementing a comprehensive Re-layout Design Service for its wood pellet plant—an initiative that not only reimagines the physical configuration of the facility but also integrates modern industrial standards to improve productivity, efficiency, and scalability.

This re-layout project serves multiple strategic functions:

  • Operational Efficiency: By redesigning the layout, the plant will improve material flow, reduce production bottlenecks, and enhance overall energy efficiency.

  • Scalability & Growth: The new layout is designed to accommodate future expansion and technological upgrades in response to market demand.

  • Sustainability Compliance: With growing regulatory emphasis on emissions reduction, the facility is being realigned with best practices in environmental stewardship and industrial sustainability.

  • Local Empowerment: The project also aims to generate positive socio-economic impact through local workforce engagement and regional economic stimulation.

PT Indika Indonesia Resources has positioned itself as a key player in Indonesia’s evolving energy landscape by identifying and acquiring high-potential assets, particularly in the renewable and alternative energy sectors. The development of this wood pellet facility exemplifies this mission, transforming natural biomass potential into a sustainable and export-ready energy product.

Through PT Jaya Bumi Paser, the Indika Group reaffirms its strategic commitment to energy transition, industrial innovation, and value creation—not only for stakeholders but also for Indonesia’s energy future.
