Since commencing commercial operations in 2016, MUTU has positioned itself as a critical contributor to the Group’s long-term strategy of unlocking and optimizing Indonesia’s abundant energy resources to meet the rising demand for reliable, sustainable energy—both domestically and internationally.

In alignment with Indika Indonesia Resources’ strategic direction, MUTU plays a pivotal role in ensuring energy resilience by not only operating coal assets efficiently, but also by developing robust supporting infrastructure. The scope of work encompasses the construction and maintenance of mine access roads, operational camps and ancillary facilities, secure warehousing, bridge structures, bulk material handling systems such as conveyors, and jetty facilities to streamline logistics and export capabilities.

This integrated infrastructure framework reflects MUTU’s commitment to operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and supply chain optimization, allowing it to deliver high-quality energy commodities while maintaining strict adherence to safety, governance, and sustainability principles.

Through the identification, acquisition, and development of high-potential assets, PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama continues to reinforce its position within Indonesia’s energy ecosystem, supporting the Indika Group’s broader ambition of becoming a leading player in the transition toward a more resilient and diversified energy future.
